First of all, please forgive me, I can't get this picture to orient correctly. --> You get the idea. Onward!
Nicola here. I have been doing art all my life. My grandfather was an artist (Max Gordon) in Lynn, Massachusetts. I grew up surrounded by his paintings and the smell of linseed oil. I got a BFA in printmaking at UCSB and pursued book arts with Harry Reese, making handmade, one of a kind books. For many years I focused on songwriting, another of my loves, I wrote thousands of songs, did CDs, bands. I taught songwriting for over 20 years -and I still do.
When the pandemic hit, I returned to my art roots and started painting in watercolor, ink and acrylic. I now share my art on Facebook (Nicola Gordon Fine Art), Instagram (nicola_fine_art) and I am a member of the Santa Barbara Art Association. I currently have work up at Gallery 113, Faulkner Gallery and the Medical Building at 1919 State Street, Santa Barbara. And of course here, on the website, I am totally pleased with the prints from this website company and thus continue to share the option of prints, tote bags, etc.
Meanwhile, reach out if you are interested in commissions, or have any questions or comments. I'm happy to connect.
Thanks for coming!
